Whatever level of rower you are, whether you are just setting out on your first season or have been competing for years, a training diary (log) can be one of your most valuable tools.
A well kept training diary can help you keep records and track your progress and performances both in training and racing and will help you to plan your future more effectively.
As the weeks, months and years go by your training diary will help you build up a picture of the training you have done and the progress you have made. One of the key benefits is being able to look at your own writing and see the difference between what you think you did or planned to do and what you actually did!
